Color Management

I am having problems maintaining good color in my images. When I first load my images the thumbnails look great. Beautiful color, beatuiful saturation. But when I select an image from the thumbnails and the image is displayed in the larger preview window, it turns green grey and very unsaturated. No combination of profiles or adjustment in the color controls is able to restore the look of the thumbnails. I don't understand. Any ideas?

    Few pointers.
    1. check that your dispaly profile is correct and not corrupt, switch to Trinitron 1.8 just for verification.
    2. Make sure that Proof profile is set to destination so that you are seeing the same thing as you are developing.
