Auto naming of output sub-folder, possible?
Is it possible to auto name an output subfolder with the name of the capture folder ??
I do a lot of 2D shots (24-36 shots of each product). Right now I have to manually enter the sub folder name for each product photo set to be developed into.
It would be nice if C1Pro could just process each subfolder inside the capture folder to a new set of output subfolders named like the capture subfolders...!
Possible? Or can this be fixed with an applescript ?

Have you already looked at the Process Recipe tool, Advanced tab? For Root Folder field, choose Image folder and set the Sub Folder name.
As a result, when you create a new session, the output will to go the Sub Folder in the Capture Folder (assuming that is the Image Folder, the folder the images reside in).0 -
Yes I know the Advanced Tab, Subfolder feature.
I do not make a new session for each 24 shots, just a new capture folder.
What I would like is that C1Pro can automatically change the name of the output subfolder to match the name of the actual capture folder.0 -
I second that request – it would be extremely useful. For ever shoot I do the photos usually get categorized into at least a dozen different sub folders.
On a related note it would be nice if there was "show files in sub-folders" view option.0 -
I have a little app that organises files into sub-folders based on the file naming 1222222_001.tif gets moved into a folder in the output folder called 1222222. or 1222222_alt_001.tif get moved to 1222222_alt.
If you are interested let me know.0 -
I'm interested, definitely. Posted about this a few months ago. 0
