C1 works only in admin-mode
hi everybody,
I usually work only with my user-account (XP on a Dell D600 notebook), to avoid stuff getting into the registry and system. in the admin mode everything works, but in the user-mode ->
C1 seems to launch, but stops at the initial launch-info-window. that covers everything else underneath. then, when I kill the the program with the taskmanager, the program-window appears for a second or so, just to say hello and vanish under the kill...
anyone any idea how to solve the problem?
thx very much

Capture One was initially built under the NT4/Win95 model where settings was stored in the application directory and registry under HKEY_Current_User
This does not work the great with user restrictions under Windows 2000 model which Windows XP is using as well where user settings is stored under \\Documents and settings\\%Username%
In current version the program will not work under full user level restrictions.
To get around it you will have to open up so program has access to c:\\Program Files\\Phase One\\Capture One and HKEY_Current_User\\Software\\Phase One
Version 4.0 should be a different story when it will be built in the Windows 2000 model.0
