Bonjour services, is it required?

    If you use Capture Pilot on IPAD or plan to use it you will need the Bonjour service.
    Capture Pilot remotely access your Capture One pictures via this service.

    I've un-installed it a few times, but the problem is it keeps on re-installing itself every time you update iTunes.

    Bonjour is installed with iTunes, Capture One 6 and possibly other software. If you think you do not need it, just disable the service or set the startup value to manual and it won't eat any resources (assuming that is what you are concerned about). New software or software updates might update it, and sometimes change it startup value, but in general it should be a one-time configuration change.
