There have been similar reports after this update from users with a catalog. A workaround that seems to work is to import your catalog into a new catalog. That can take some time depending on the size of your catalog. You can let it work overnight.

Unfortunately that's not it, I only work in Sessions. It's happening with new sessions I create as well.

Sorry to hear that. I have not experienced this with sessions after the update. I suggest you contact support and provide them your logs and other details if requested.

I'm having the same issue working in sessions with COne since the last update. Takes a few minutes just to open the program.

Nobody's likely to be able to help you with this problem without more information. What version of MacOS, what spec of computer, etc?

Yes Ian, you are correct.  I have a 2013 MacPro desktop (trashcan) 3.7 GHz Quad-Coe 32MB ram D300 graphics.  512GB internal and a 5D Drobo connected via Thunderbolt.  Running Catalina 10.15.5.

When I upgraded to Cap One 13.1.1 it has been slow right from the gate. Takes a couple of minutes just to open the program. Slow on processing my 5d MIV images also.  Decided to work with images on the internal drive to see if it was the Drobo and there was no difference.  Uninstalled 13.1.1 and went back to 13.1.0.172 and its back to working as it should. Program opens in a few seconds, processing so fast I can't even see it happening.

I'll wait for the next version to come out and see if it runs better.

I have the same Problems with a 2015 Macbook pro 2,2 GHz i7 16MB, but only with with updated Sessions from Capture One 12. If i open the same files in a new Session its much faster.

Here again. @Paul: I was the user re-importing the whole catalogue. After several attempts I can tell that it is NOT a solution. C1 is incredibly slow in regarding importing images and creating preview. I am using a Macbook Pro 2018 with i5, and it´s been working fluently with recent C1 versions.

Guys, this needs to be solved please!
