multi value search
hi,
CO8 is a really fine piece of software, but there is ONE little thing, which drives me nuts: no mutli value search. i don't know, but there must be others who do receive lists with ratings from review platforms like picdrop or selfhosted applications. for now i'm using photo mechanic, which supports multi value search and lets me carry over all ratings within 3 or 4 clicks. but not so in direclty in CO. while i can live with the workaround PM i'd be more than thankful to just copy paste multirow or comma separated values in the search and have all matches come up......
i hope i missed something and/or i'm simply stupid and do not know how to use CO8.
thanks for suggestions,
regards,
tim

Add the criteria you wish to filter by to the Filter tool.
Hold option when clicking a second criteria to make an AND search.
For instance: 4 and 5 star images with the keyword "Person" or "Place".0 -
i'm not talking about facets here, but plain filenames. let me be more precise:
existing raw files:
123.nef
234.nef
456.nef
567.nef
my client selected the first three to be final and ready for postproduction.
what i get from my review system is a list or comma separated list with
123.nef
234.nef
456.nef
this is easily doable in lightroom with filter "text" and "contains". then i paste my filenames either with space or comma in between.
where do I copy/paste a LIST of filenames and do get my search results filtered for all contained filenames in CO?0
