Win 3.7.8 hangs!!!

Just uppgraded to the 3.7.8 but the program will not work properly..?!
When browsing catalogs the program hangs suddenly.?
Tryed to reinstall from scratch , but the sam thing happens again.
When opening some folders ore files the program hangs...?
I have about 35000 pictures recordet in my cachfile, located on another drive,
and it seams that the problem is in the cachfile reading...?!
It´s giving me the chills just to think about the jobb to readjust all that material.!!!
Now i have reinstalled the 3.7.7 and everything works normal again...
so there must be someting wrong in the uppdate..!
-Anyone experiance similar problem??´

Help is needed quickly I´m soon getting my new NikonD3 (!)

    Hi Per,
    Don't have that problem with CO 3.7.8 and I am afraid I am not much of a help here. However, I was triggered by 35000 images in the cache. Surprising CO is working at all with that amount!
    Just for my curiosity (ignore at will): if you do the Get Info for the preview cache, you read two values: do you have that amount of 35000 for the first (preview files) or second (work files) values. I assume the latter.
    Ever considered archiving (and removing) these work files?

    You´r quite right, it is the workfiles i am talking about!
    But still there is some problem in the 3.7.8 (!)
    I´we installed it on another computer and tryed to open a folder from a USB-harddrive and got the same hangingproblem with those files (Nikon D2x raw Nef- files) ..but they work perfectly in the 3.7.7 and my other raw developers like
    Lightroom,Capture NX, CaptureOne4 and ACR..?! . something is dfinitly wrong.
    I have told the support team thet they can download the files from me to test them selves.
    Your tip about archiving the workfiles I will adapt and try!

    I dunno if this is related at all, but when I installed 3.7.8, the end of the install process "blue screened" my system. I shut down and rebooted, and the program seems to be operating fine, but I've never had an issue installing any of the other 3.7.x versions.
