Color editor in local adjustment tab
Hello there,
On the local adjustment tab, when the color editor is docked I'm not able to
open it. When it is undocked it works fine.

I have exactly the same problem. Color editor will not open unless it is undocked. 0 -
It might be your screen resolution - see Christian's comments in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=21413 0 -
I see, but it should not depend on screen resolution 😊
I'm developer and it seem to me that something is depending
on platform which is not good 😊0 -
Thanks Richard, that seems to be the problem. I have C1 9.0 installed on my laptop which has a max resolution of 1366 x 768. I'll see if the same problem exists on my desktop later today. For the interim, I'll just have to use 'undocking' as a workaround. 0 -

Well just add a tab with the colour editor tool or remove something else for the existing tab. Or float the tool.
Or change the screen or screen resolution.
The tools simply requires a good amount of screen "real estate" and resolution to be usable. Realistically I would guess that most C1 users would have more than enough resolution to provide for the colour editor - see the many threads about 4k and 5k screens.

I had a screen with marginal vertical resolution and hid/removed a toolbar to solve the trouble.
My monitor was used for tools and thumbnails with another monitor for editing the image. I don't recall which toolbar I removed but whatever remained allowed me to navigate just fine. I saved this as a custom desktop.
So, another alternative to the others mentioned in this thread.0 -

It doesn't really depend (as such) on resolution but on the scaling. So if Windows was able to run at below 100% scaling, it would work on even lower resolutions. It would look truly horrible, though.0
