Trouble copying adjustments
I'm using 5.0.1 and can no longer copy adjustments. When I click copy the paste option is not available and the clipboard deselects everything. I tried manually selecting options in the clipboard tool by checking the options. But when I tried applying, the error "Capture One has unexpectedly stopped working" pops up. I can get the new local copy to work, but even then I have to select the changed options that use to be checked. Version 4.8's adjustment feature still seems to be working fine. Went through the usual routine, reinstalled, deleted .col50, restarted computer. Conversions seem to be working okay however. Any ideas?

Where are your RAW files located?
Sometimes if they are on an external drive permissions conflicts make it impossible for C1 to read the settings files.0 -
Thanks, but I had considered that after searching the forum, but after re-installing I tested files on my C: drive but encountered the same situation. I'm using Windows XP, so no problems with Vista or Windows 7. Weird, because I thought it was working okay when I originally installed 5.0.1, but I'm not sure. I haven't installed anything new. 0 -
Coach,
Create a support case, we'll look into it.0 -
Hello, my name is Coach and I'm a customization addict....
I figured it out. Sometime in the past couple of weeks I was looking for shortcuts for Auto Adjust Levels and Auto Adjust High Dynamic Range. I didn't find them but I found one named "Autoselect Adjusted" and thought what does this do? I searched the phrase in help, but nothing was found. Well I assigned the keystroke and tried it on a test image, but when nothing seemed to happen, I just took it back off my keyboard customization. So since then when trying to copy adjustments nothing would work as before and manual selection seems to crash the program. It was by chance that I found the option when clicking the triangle on the right side of the Adjustments Clipboard tool tab.
I'm still hooked on customizing, shortcuts and macro (scripting), so hopefully future releases will give me my fix....0 -
Coach,
Good detective work. On the list of things we would have looked into, customization isn't high on the list. Thanks for putting this one to rest.0
