Outright Purchase or Subscription?
My 30-day trial will expire soon and I am pondering whether to purchase the software or go with the subscription model.

I have Capture One 8 but the image filter function is terribly slow with large catalogs, and the Panasonic lens data is messed up. There are other speed issues as well. I am waiting to see if this is fixed before I spend money to buy Capture One Pro 9.
From comments here I see plenty of speed issues, as well as other issues with keywords and Metadata.
I will download a trial once a couple more versions come out out (ideally 9.1), in the meantime I am trialing Photo Supreme with a view to using COP in session mode, for image editing only, and using PS for digital asset management functions.
Once COP9 becomes stable and relatively bug free, I will probably buy a license upgrade.
However, I bitterly remember testing COP7 with 100 or so images, and liking it very much, all the time I spent transferring my image library to COP 8 (purchased), only to discover that it takes over a minute to respond to each keystroke or mouseclick in my main catalog of 18000 images (response time slows with number of images), and that all the lens information was missing for images from my 4 Panasonic cameras.0
