Local Adjustment Layer Mask and Colour Editor doen't work...
Hi
I'm trying to crete a mask in Local adjusment and then to only choose a color within the mask. I have 9.0.1 which I reinstalled and removed all system files. Also tried it in C1 ver 8.3.3 and didn't get it to work on either 8 or 9. I run OSX 10.10.5 on a MBP Pro i7 16gB Ram and 512 SSD disk.
This is how I do it...
Create a local adjustment layer with a mask over the area I want to choose the color from so it doesn't effect similar colours in the image
Go to Color editor and choose a color within the mask (Adjust Selected Layer is choosen)
Click on view selected colors
Colors picked is showing up in the whole image not only on the masked layer
I spooken to technical support and I haven't got any help yet. It works for them though...
Is there anyone here that has had the same problem and solved it? Or anyone can see that I missed to do something.
Greatful for any help!
Cheers,
Mikael

Are you using the advanced tab in the colour editor? The basic tab doesn't work with local adjustments.

In addition to Ian's post:
On color editor tool, click on the 3 dots and make sure 'Adjust Selected Layer' is active.

Ian: Yes I use the advanced Color editor tab
Hans: The "Adjust Selected Layer" is active under the Color Editor
Tried the Skin Tone and that doesn't work either...
Seems really strange that it doesn't work...

I found the solution in the post below...
If I have the "View selected color range" it changes everything in the image unclick it and it works... 😄
