    Please share details about your system, OS+version, CO version and whether you're using catalog or session.

    Then, please share which steps you are trying to take, are you importing from card, from elsewhere on a disk, from a network.

    Then please share with us whether you are using any kind of function during importing, renaming, applying presets, etc.

    Then ... we just might be able to help you 😊 😊 😊

    i try to import form a disk
    i have just done some import but to day i cannot import new images in old catalog or in a new catalog

    Have you already updated to CO 8.1? Can you import one image? When does CO8 crash, during opening and listing the thumbnails or after you hit the import button?

    just update to 8.1 i have imported images till yesterday then today nothing
    crash when i do import images

    I suggest you contact support. In the mean time disable OpenCL hardware acceleration for dispaly in the Preferences, General tab.
