Open with options

I use Nik software. When I right-click "open with" in C1, it displays a range of options but not Silver Exfex. I have to navigate to the "Silver Efex Pro 2.exe" file each time I want to use it.

Is there a way to get Silver Efex to stick to the available options ?

  Hi,
  
  This is a long lasting issue and P1 don't seem decided to do something about it. See this thread : . Some solutions are suggested but nothing is really satisfactory. I have proposed a temporary solution for Silver Efex.
  
  Only P1 can fix this by implementing the same External Editing feature as in Lightroom.

  The following workaround works for me (Windows 10):
  1. Locate a .tif file in Windows Explorer
  2. Right-click the .tif file and select 'Open with...'
  3. Select 'Choose another app' from the context menu
  4. Remove the check box 'Always use this app...'
  5. Scroll down and click 'More apps'
  6. Scroll down and click 'Choose a different app on this computer'
  7. Browse to Programs -> Google -> Nik Collection ->the program you want to use -> ...(64-Bit) ->the program you want to use
  This will open the .tif file in the NIK program. Next time you use C1, the program will be available in the drop-down box.

  Thanks Samoreen and Thies : the solution offered by Thies worked for me.
  
  I hope C1 will fix this issue in an update though...
