Capture One 9.1.2 crashes during importing stage

Since 9.2 was unusable, I deleted it in Windows using the Windows uninstall program option.

I have installed 9.1.2 and am starting over. Created a new catalog only now Capture One crashes everytime about midway through the import images stage.

This is pissing me off...ever since 9.2 I have been unable to get any work done in Capture One. Not cool.

Is there some residual trace of 9.2 on my computer that is ****ing everything up?

Advice appreciated here, thanks.

    I've now uninstalled/reinstalled 9.1.2 several times and tried importing images to new catalogs. Everytime, Capture One crashes after about an hour of importing.
