There is one image that has an orange border around it, what does this mean?

    It has become the Compare Variant. This can happen when you (accidently) hit the Enter key. Cmd+Enter should release its state or through Edit menu.

    The Compare Variant is only effective when you enable MultiView in the viewer.

    I got this all the time because I was so used to using the Return key with Photoshop after setting my crop. Finally I realized I can edit the keyboard shortcuts in Capture One and just removed that keyboard command.
