    The answer from support is:
    Don't shoot in anything other than full RAW format.

    I had shot the picture in SRAW1 because it was going to be highly noisy (low light). SRAW1 lowers the density of the sensor and can result in a bit better noise performance.

    So evidently, there is no pincushion recourse possible. This seems a little weird to me, but I don't know how this feature actually works.

    Maybe someone else here has some experience? Or am I basically S.O.L.?

    The lens correction feature is a specific trick performed on the raw file. This is created into Capture One for each type/model raw file individually. The smaller raw files like sraw and mraw are considered less high performance file formats, hence these advanced tricks are not brought into these type of files. (my explanation might not be 100% technically accurate, but I think I come close)

    So, if you want all the bells and whistles from your raw file like lens correction, full raw is your way to go in Capture One.

    OK, thanks... lesson learned and image lost.

    Will keep that in mind with wide angle shots!
