Apply Metadata template on tethered Capture?

Is there a way to apply a metadata template to images as they are captured when tethering?

Oh wait... do I use "Styles" for this?

Also - is there a way to make a "default session" that is already setup with capture naming and smart folders and other settings?

    Answering my own question somewhat...

    It appears I want to use Styles to apply me base metadata on Capture. However, I'm seeing a problem - if I use Defaults with Styles in capture adjustments, then I don't get my white balance or other adjustments like I do with Copy from Last.

    So it seems that I would need to use Copy from Last with Clipboard and first copy my metadata into the clipboard.

    Is that the best way?

    It seems very clunky not to be able to apply a baseline set of metadata to every image I capture by default.

    The Next Capture Adjustments panel REALLY needs to have an additional option to apply metadata presets.
