I've noticed that my processed jpg are much more flat (lack of contrast) than the orignal raw file as I can see in C1: how can I avoid this gap and get processed jpg that are identical to the raw file as I can see in C1?
    Many thanks

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your question, but are you just loading your images and then processing? Or are you adjusting each? Are you having C1 do auto adjust? Are you using any presets?

Since C1 has contrast adjustments (as well as lots of other adjustments) I am at a loss as to why you do not just adjust the contrast (and other adjustments) until you see something you like. However, as I said, I may be misunderstanding your question.

This is a huge color management question with LOTS of answers particular to your work flow.

    A few places to start:
Is your display calibrated and profiled?
What output color profile are you using?
Are you comparing the processed JPGs as printed or as displayed?

Thank you Bob for yr answer 😉
Yes I work with a calibrated iMac 27", I do not change the output profile so I use the default setting (Adobe RGB 1998), and finally I'm comparing the processed jpg as displayed on the monitor with the Preview app Vs the original raw as displayed on the monitor with C1
I hope this clarifications could allow you to help me 😉
    Many thanks again

Preview.app is colour managed so should display AdobeRGB correctly but it has to know that the jpg is AdobeRGB or it will default to sRGB. Maybe there is a problem with the metadata on the jpg exported from Capture One ?

You could export an sRGB image and compare that in Preview.app to an sRGB preview in Capture One. If they look the same then that would point to the AdobeRGB colour space of the jpg not being recognised by Preview.app.
