AMD chips vrs. Intel

I'm about to purchase a notebook for location shooting - wondering if anyone uses Capture One with an AMD based computer rather than Intel?
I realize both chips are advertised as being completely compatible, and I'm sure the AMD is fine with mainstream software - but I had nightmares with some music industry recording software on an AMD machine at one point, so I'm being cautious...

  I use AMD no problem.

  I'm using AMD processors for a long time. I have never any problems with those chips. C1 pro 3.7 RC works fine on my athlon64 2800 .
