Issues with lens cast

Using a P45+ with the latest Capture One Pro software and firmware update. When a lenscast is needed it now takes over a minute to analyze the file, used to take only 10 seconds. We are shooting on a Mac Book pro OSX 10.5.8 intel core duo tethered.

The type of shooting we do requires us to do a lot of lenscast corrections and staring at the beach ball of death has become irritating. Like I said above it used to only take about 10 seconds to analyze a lenscast. No other programs are running at the time and this is the only issue that we are having with this software at this time.

I ran permissions and disk warrior to clean the drive up a bit but that did nothing, updated firmware and that did nothing. This started out of the blue for us. Am I missing something really obvious?

    Might be a CO 5.2 Pro/DB issue. See this thread:

    Best to open a case with Phase One.

    I suspect the dust spot analysis slows down the creation of LCC files.
    Reverted to 5.1.2 for that very reason.

    That is what might be the bug. Try the CO 5.2.1 update that was released yesterday in an attempt to solve the issue (among others).

    still C1 performs the analysis... so it takes some time.
