New Canon 5DMKII firmware

Just what C1 wanted! New firmware for the 5DMKII that makes changes to the sRAW file.

Has anyone tried the firmware update with C1. How does it work?

Canon says that using the existing release of their DPP software will render shaddows w magenta caste when processing sRAW1. I don't care too much about sRAW1 but I assume that C1 will need to update it's version to compensate for this change.

Anybody update yet and then use C1? Any impact on full size RAW files that you can see?

  I just updated my firmware to 1.0.7. The RAW look fine in C1 4.6, but the sRAW1 definitely have a magenta cast overall and more so in the shadows. You can adjust the tint and temp to compensate a little, but since it's more pronounced in the blacks, I can't get the blacks looking right without everything else going too green.
  
  The sRAW2 files look fine to me. The RAW files look fine too.
  (I am basing this on quick test shots in my office. I will try some real shots tomorrow.)
  
  Just when I thought I could go back to using C1 again, Canon changes the firmware and now we have to wait for a fix from Phase One!
  
  I suppose the work around for now is to not shoot sRAW1.

  as for me in shooting RAW, no color cast. I made just before a test shot...and no color shifting.
