Sessions - Library - Thumbnails - Preferences?

I use a single Session for everything (very low volume shooter) and address files directly from the Library in C1, at the locations that I've placed them.

My question is this: When I point the Library at a folder of images, Capture One creates thumbnails, or at least I think it does.

Can I create a set of preferences that are added to the files each time at this point?

I'd like to be able to add Metadata (from my default template), lens profile and chromatic aberration.

Is this possible?

    Metadata: you can add during import, but not when you browse a folder as you describe. Applying a preset or style is the best workaround I can come up with.

    Lens profile: this can be applied automatically if the lens is recognised. Otherwise a preset is the way to go.

    Chromatic aberration: can be part of the lens profile. If no lens profile is available, select all images from the folder and hit the 'analyse' button. CA must be analyzed per image. It is not an copy/apply kind of adjustment.
