Default luminance noise reduction at low ISO
The default for my camera (Sony A6000) for Luminance noise reduction at low ISOs is 50. Is there any reason not to set this to zero at ISO100-200?
Also with Detail, default is 50, is there any reason this shouldn't be higher at low ISO?
Thanks!

It will always show at 50 on the slider, but under the covers the actual amount of noise reduction is higher for higher ISO images. This is profiled for each camera. 0 -
So does that mean if it's set to 20 rather than 50, that the behind-the-scenes auto-ISO noise reduction still works, but at a lower level? 0 -
My image files are usually pretty noisy (low light and aps-c sensor...) so the "default 50" are a good match, but i do find it beneficial to tweak it if the ISO is very low or very high. 0 -
Note that you can set a new default per camera for noise reduction (and many other tools) for the tool's action menu. 0
