Backup Failed - "Internal database error"

My C1 backups are failing with a popup "An internal database error was encountered"

C1 has created a new directory in my backup folder "Capture One 12 Catalog (Whitespace Conflict)" with empty directory entries for each failed backup.

Verify Catalog or Session passes without error.

Any suggestions?

    Solved:

    My solution was to create a new catalogue and import from the old.

    No errors on the import and backups working again.
