Edit camera ICC profile
I occasionally use Sony A350 for travel because of its compact size and light weight. Recently I found that the color and exposure in CO5.1.2 were ways off. Most pictures that look correctly exposure in the histogram in-camera were found over-exposured by 1 to 2 stops in CO. It wasn't the case in CO4. I know from the release note that CO5.1.2 has specific "improvement" on Sony cameras for more accurate color but A350 was left out and not on the list.
I also found that the so-called improvement were mainly implemented as Version 2 (v2) of the camera ICC profile.
Can I edit the ICC profile myself instead of raising a ticket and wait for a fix? Anyone has experience fixing the camera ICC profile?

Yes you can edit a ICC profile and use that one instead of the factory profile. You can consider to use the CO4 profile in CO5.
A 1 to 2 stops exposure change however does not sound as a profile issue to me and would be something to discuss with Phase One in a case and/or you present an image to the folks here (download link to raw file in a post).0
