    Is that 4.1 from a JPEG again? Sure looks like it. The DCT of the JPEG compression exacerbates any high frequency color variance (i.e. noise). Comparing noise between a TIFF and an image run through JPEG compression is useless.

    Though I do believe the noise reduction between 4.1 and 4.5 has been tuned somewhat.

    I tried jpeg output at 100% from 4.5 Pro, the noise pattern seen in the TIFF file still exists.
    Again, it's not a problem of JPEG compression.

    At 100% zoom, the 4.5 Pro jpeg output looks a lot cleaner.
