Unable ti import .dng files

I am using Capture One Pro 6.1 and have found that I am unable to read files converted to .dng in Lightroom. Can somebody please advise me whether this is possible.

  Are they raw DNG or linear DNG? Linear DNG is a a jpeg or tiff file that was saved as a DNG and thus is not supported in Capture One.
