How to send picture from Capture One via Apple Mail
Hi guys,
I've been working with Capture One (9.1) on my Macs for quite a few days. There's one simple question nobody hasn't been able to answer yet.
I want to send pictures directly from Capture One. Now I've been told that I should use an export recipe in Capture one, choosing Apple Mail as the program where Capture One will open the picture in.
Now I do have two problems:
1. I can choose Apple Mail in Capture One on my Macbook Air (11 inch) => same OS X version, same Capture One version but not on my Mac Mini (this is the computer I use for developing my pictures). When I try to choose Apple Mail via "open with" in the export recipe dialog, its not possible. However, I could choose programs like NIK Silver Effex etc.
What's wrong?
2. On my Macbook Air it's possible to choose it. However, when exporting it into Apple Mail Capture One also exports one copy into a folder on my disk. This means that I have to delete these copies manually every time which is quite annoying. I only want Capture One to export a copy into Mail without having an additional copy on the hard disk.
I'd very much appreciate any kind of answer. Hopefully it's possible to make Capture One (also on my Mac Mini) to work the way I want it to.
Thanks for reading! 😊
Edit: Since I cannot enclose screenshots here, you will find one each (Macbook Air/Mac mini) here: http://www.macuser.de/threads/capture-o ... st-8814887

My workflow is to send photos as jpegs to Apple Photos, then select and mail via Shave menu from there. I also use Photos to send to Facebook and Flickr accounts. Apple Photo is great as a DAM and also for tagging and adding locations to photos.
Or, you could use Automator to create a folder or service that creates a mail message, adds the photo as an attachment, you add the address and send.0
