Can anyone offer advice as to why my capture one is so slow?

    Marcus,
Are you creating new sessions from time to time?
The session files that Capture One runs off of are like a table of contents, the shorter the table the faster it's read. If you use the same session for tens of thousands of images the table of contents can get overloaded and slow things down.

    Hi Drew,

    thanks for the reply.
I'm creating a new session folder pretty much every shoot.
Its getting slower and slower...really frustrating.
TJust got back from a shoot today and tethering the camera to laptop was painfully slow....was able to shoot about 10 frames then had to wait a couple of minutes while it caught up.
    What am I doing wrong?
    any advice?
    Thanks
    Marcus

Create a support case and let's get some details for diagnosis.
