OpenCL and multiple graphics cards

hi everyone.

i've just purchased a geforce gtx 680 for my mac pro 4,1 to take advantage of OpenCL. i have 2 extra geforce gt120 cards (which CO doesn't support for OpeCL) and am curious if leaving them in the machine would make a difference in OpenCL performance since i always use 2 monitors.

i am not familiar with how this technology works nor how CO specifically utilizes OpenCL, but am curious if using one or both of the old cards for the displays would open up the new card for preview rendering and processing files.

also -- can anyone clarify the way CO utilizes OpenCL for display vs processing? just looking for a definition of each in this particular usage.

  thanks sizzlingbadger. i've already read everything i could find online at this point and made phone calls to nvidia, but i think my answer needs to come from phase one. i believe it's how CO utilizes OpenCL in this case.
  
  can anyone at phase address this question??

  C1 is currently only capable of using one GPU.
  
  By the way, this is a user-to-user forum. If you create a support case at phaseone.com you will get a reply direct from phase within 24 hours (usually much faster). Some P1 employees hang out here as time allows, but there is no guarantee when/if they will reply to a given thread - if you start a support case you have such a guarantee.
