store pictures in catalog...

Hi,

for a few months, when i was importing files to the catalog, they were saved in the catalog itself, not in an separate folder. Now i want to change this, getting a new really fat external raid which is speedy enough to be a working volume.

For coming files i see no problem, but how can handle the existing ones? There is no command like "save pictures in folder VVV and catalog with developing data in YYY"

I tried to make a backup of the catalog, but even when the checkbox "include originals" is unchecked, they where included...

Any ideas?
