Is there any way to select adjustments with the keyboard?
I've looked everyone I can think of (including the AppleScript dictionary) and I can't seem to find any way to select adjustments with the keyboard to make fine adjustments. I know there are shortcuts to directly change values, but that only allows pre-determined increments. So for example, if I want to adjust tint less than ±1, then I have to use the mouse to select the tool and make fine adjustments.
Is that actually the case, or I hope I'm missing something?

It depends on the adjustment. If you click in the box for the tint value, the up and down arrows seem to adjust it by 0.5 at a time. If you hold down shift while you use the arrow keys you get 2.0 extra each time. Or you can type any value into the box.
For some adjustments, the increments are small. So for the rotation angle you get 0.01 degree increments, or 0.1 degree if you hold down shift. With the Levels black and white points you get 1 at a time - I often use that to move the sliders to just the right amount to avoid triggering the highlight and shadow warnings.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I know I can make fine adjustments once the tool is selected, which is why I'm hoping for a shortcut to select it in the first place. I'd like to get into that state without having to reach for the mouse. 0 -
Part of the trouble is that there are 60 different tools, if my counting is correct. How to choose which ones deserve a shortcut?

They could just all get unpopulated shortcut targets and leave it up to the user which ones they want shortcuts for. That's already how it's handled for the direct adjustment shortcuts; check the Levels dropdown under the current keyboard shortcuts editor; there are tons of targets all left blank by default. 0
