64 bit windows and tethered shooting
Hello, sorry if this has been gone over before... I am running 64 bit windows and have tried shooting tethered with CaptureOne 4.7 trial version, windows see's the camera (D3 firmware 2.01) in windows explorer (camera, card, pics on card show up). Capture One does not connect with the camera. Does anyone know if this is a 64bit issue or tethered connection is not working because of the trial version?
thanks
Dave

Vista? Tethered support is only supported in Vista 32 bit installations - 64 bit currently not supported.
The following backs are supported in 32bit Windows Vista:
P20+, P 21+, P25+, P 30+ and P 45+. LightPhase, H5, H10, H20, H25, P20, P25.

Yep...but as Win 7 is a beta, probably have to wait for the release to get support clarified, that's the nature of betas. All reports I have seen say that Win 7 is fully compatable with Vista drivers....so I'd try the Vista solution.....
...Paul can maybe confirm my answer to the question in the initilal post, AFAIK CONE trials are fully functional for the version on trial. I'd double check that you are using the PRO version rather than standard before proceeding with tethering.0 -

Capture One trials are fully functional, for a limited time period, and that includes tethering.0
