Why not just activate it? Check your amount of free activations on the Phase One web site.

The Phase One support team told me to use version 4, which I happen to have on my
computer. I just booted it up and it says that my license has been deactivated. I can
only use the software as a trial version.

If you are using the Pro version, I believe you can also download and install 3.7.9 Pro and that has the licence date bug fixed so you can continue to use it. It is available from http://xchange.phaseone.com/Content/Dow ... veWin.aspx (located near the bottom of the page).

If you are using LE, and can afford to wait a while, I belive PhaseOne are preparing a 3.7.9 LE release. See the second posting from PhaseOne staff in the thread at viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8096

    Rob,
Sorry if you feel inconvenienced. The Deactivation of your Capture One 3 software is well documented and if you would like to continue to use Capture One 3 please mention so in your support case. In regard to why your Capture One 4 license has been deactivated, this would not have been done indiscriminately. Please inquire as to why and we will be happy to offer a reason.

I am fresh to all this but I recently found out that I can no longer use my copy of 3.7.4, since there is a problem with the current 2010 date. Any help to fix this problem would be appreciated, as I have paid $$$$$$ to use this software.

    Sambar,
Yes you paid for the software and of course you are entitled to use it. You can use Capture One 4 as was previously suggested to you or you can let support know you prefer Capture One 3 and we can work something out for you.
