Problems adjusting curves in luma

Using Mac El Capitan I cannot adjust curves in Luma with mouse or watcom pen. I create a node with mouse click but It cannot move. If I set 5 points and click on one it goes solid and cannot move. Any advice, please?

  No issue here on my macbook (running 10.11.2) with the touchpad.
  Curves in Luma works as expected.

  Is the "Pick Luma Curve Point" on the bottom right of the curves window highlighted by orange?
  Click on that and see if the points move freely.

  If you proccess engine of IMAGE is not upgraded to 9 you cannot use that feature.
  It is a bit confusing but you may have 9 catalog with image set by default to image processor of 8 version to change that go to Base Characteristic to check if processing Engine is set to 9 version.
  
  This is why you may have troubles accessing LUMA curve
