Im jealous on LR4 plz release CO7

Im so jealous on the adjustment layers in LR4.

Color Balance, White Balance, Curves, Levels,... via local adjustment brush. I wish I could do the same with Capture One. Right now Im finding it still too restricted. Im hitting the boundaries in CO. Please PhaseOne I hope we can see these features in Capture One 7 😄 (soon).

    Local adjustments are available under the local adjustments tool.

    Yes I know but you can't use it with all settings that are available in CO. In example you can't use it with White Balance, Color Balance, Curves, Levels.... If that was possible I wouldn't roundtrip to Photoshop anymore.

    It works only with a couple of standard settings like Clarity, Sharpen, Exposure, Contrast ...

    Haven't seen any local curves or levels adjustments in LR4. LR 4 has advantages over C1 Pro but thats not one. C1 Pro has a much better local color correction tool then LR4. In LR4 you can't do HSL locally but in C1 you can. And if you can do this you can do not a perfect local WB setting but adjust your colors accordingly.

    YOu can't do local adjustment of curves, level and color balance in Lightroom 4. Only white balance and other parameters. the local adjustment of capture is still superior than lr, especially when in comes to color, however it lacks dynamic range and white balance local adjustments.

    There are some things that are better in LR4, but this is sure not one of them. I would rather rant about missing of a gradient tool, or better lens fix settings (for non MF lenses), but no the local adjustments. They are pretty awesome in C1

    I can't stand LR but in terms of the local adjustment brush, it is far superior. The Auto Mask saves tons of time and the WB is hugely useful. Plus it is fast, Bibble is fast too, Capture One brush crawls on my slow machine. I drag the brush across the sky and five seconds later it turns red... Aaarg!

    @Rick142 Thats exactly what I was trying to say here. I too can't stand LR but their local adjustment brush is far better than Capture One's brush. I want to see the same or even better local adjustment brush in Capture One 7.

    If there's one thing to be jealous of, it's Lightroom 4.x's dynamic range and handling of tonalities. This is in a different league now.
