Try deleting the files in /Users/Shared/Capture one/ImageCore/ and relaunch CO. 0 -
Same problem with me. Already tried deleting the files indicated.
Using Windows 10, GTX 980m.0 -

For Windows, the path is: C:\ProgramData\Phase One\Capture One\ImageCore\ delete all files in this directory, and relaunch CO.0 -

I see that your GFX adapter only has 1 gb of Ram. Both Capture One 10 and 11 requires minimum 2 gb for the adapter to be enabled for use in Capture One.0 -

Do you have a graphic boards compatibility list with OpenCL and CO11?
My iMac has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2048 MB. I have few problems with OpenCL and CO9. I would like to be sure my iMac will work fine with this new release before upgrading.
Thank you for your work ๐0 -

It will work fine, though it will not be fastest experience with that card, it does have some "mileage" you could say.
Coming from V9, you will benefit from the big improvements in OpenCL stability that has happen over both V10 and V11.0 -
Hi everybody !
after one day using full time the mask and layers tools, it seems that the C1-11 improves them very hard !
even I have no more OpenCL, masking runs smoother, quicker ans easier !
I suppose a hard work has been done ... I find it great.
Whats do you think ?

I can confirm your observation after a full day working with layers and lots of masking on a MP 5,1 (Mid 2010) and Retina MBP15" (Mid 2014) with OS X 10.12.6 each.0 -
I concur. I was a bit sceptic about the local adjustments to layers rehash but it is pretty logical and the inclusion of styles and presets on layers as well as the color editor being available for layers is pretty great. Masking is much better now, as is performance across the board. 0 -
Hi,
I had the same problem and deleted the files in /Users/Shared/Capture one/ImageCore/ and I'm happy to report that it now works ๐ and I will close the support case....
Maybe PO can adjust the support site (https://www.phaseone.com/search/article ... cleid=1720) they are linking to by adding the tip to delete the files.....

Hi,
I am having the same problem with C1 11 - it states that "Hardware acceleration doesn't work" in the preferences pane.
I tried deleting ImageCore files and relaunching C1, but the result is the same - hardware acceleration doesn't work.
I am using an ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB video card, and OpenCL DOES work in C1 10.2.1. Have hardware requirements changed in C1 11? Anything else I can try to fix this issue?
Regards,
Russ0 -

Someone from Phase One said 2GB video card minimum if I recall correctly.0 -

The GPU needs at least 2 gb of VRAM to be used in Capture One.0 -

Hi Christian,
Thanks for your reply. OpenCL does work for me in C1 10 with 1GB VRAM - is 2GB VRAM a minimum requirement for C1 11?
Cheers,

It shows as working fine for me. I have the MacBook Air with shared memory on the Intel Graphics HD 6000. 0 -
2gb is 256MB ๐ 0 -
With me OpenCL shows as working in C1 11. I have Mac Pro 5,1 (Mid 2010) and ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB VRAM. 0 -

That's odd. I'm running the same hardware, but OS X Sierra (not High Sierra) and for me it's not working.
Christian, can you please comment on this? Can you offer any troubleshooting steps? Is there a reason OpenCL is working for some users, but not others even with 1GB VRAM?
Thanks.0 -

I am still running El Capitan on the Mac Pro. It is my production machine and I have it off-line 99,9% of the time.
I am on High Sierra on my home iMac which is on-line 100% but without OpenCL, of course.
Hope this helps.0 -
Thanks Tibor!
Still hoping for a reply from Christian to explain what might be going on.0 -

I think you would be better to go through the official support route of a Support Case. As far as I can tell Christian's involvement here is not intended to be some form of official technical Advice despite the great help he offers when his time allows, whereas the Support case system is the way to go for timely official responses.
HTH.

Thanks, Grant.
I just ordered a new video card (been meaning to upgrade anyway) so we'll see if I still have issues with OpenCL not working.0
