Outputing to different folders
I think I might be missing something as this should be easy to do. I would like to have different process recipies that output to folders on different places on my computer. For instance I might want a low res JPEG to be processed to a folder on the desktop while the TIFFS I want to remain in within the C1 file structure in the Output folder.
I can of course do this but each time I change the output location for one recipie it changes it for all recipies. I understand (I think) the advanced tab where you can create sub folders but this does not really address my concern.
Anyone know of a solution?
Thanks
Cristiana

Cristiana,
Look into the "Advanced" tab of the process recipe, it lets you customize the output folder to suite your needs.0 -
Thanks Drew. I do understand that I can set the output folder to be anywhere on my computer. The problem is that when for instance, I set the JPEG recipe to go to a folder named Low Res on my desktop, C1 sets the same output folder automatically for the other recipes in my list.
I want to have a JPEG recipe that always goes to the LowRes folder on my desktop and have a TIFF recipe that always goes into the C1 output folder without having to reset the output folder each time.
I hope this explains it. I do use the Advanced Tab in the process recipe area but maybe I'm missing something??

Cristiana,
Take another look at the advanced tab. In each recipe you can designate a specific folder.
5 Different Recipes = 5 Different Output Folders, all different from the session default.0 -
Drew, maybe you could explain the difference to me between the "Root Folder" and the Path in the Advanced tab. You are correct that I can set the Root folder to any folder I wish. This stays fixed and I can have different Root Folders for different recipes. However, in practice the file follows the path that I have set in Output naming box in the "Output to" selection. This seems to where the issue is in that when I change that it changes the output destination for all the recipes.

My mistake, I think I've gotten it to work now.
