"Color" NR default too aggressive
I put in a bug on this as well, but at least with the Fuji S5 RAF files the "Color" noise reduction default of "54" (percent?) is too aggressive. Using an ISO 1250 file it causes some parts of the photo to look as if an oil painting filter were applied.
Reducing the "Color" NR to around 10 seems to correct the problem.
Fortunately it's fairly easy to set a new default (though it would be nice if you could do it by Camera/ISO).
Don't know if others are seeing this. Given that it's fairly easy to cause this "painterly" effect, I have to wonder if the "Color" NR is just a little broken period. "Luminance" seems to work fine though.
