NIKON D70 problems?
Hello!
I have two questions to you.
1 - I am using a NIKON D70 with color mode II (Adobe RGB). What should I put in color management setings in camera profile tab on Capture one LE: Nikon D70 generic V2 or Adobe RGB (1998).
2 - When I point to a thumbnail in capture one LE it tells me that the color mode that I am using is sRGB. Why?
My version is 3.7.0.115
Thank you in advance.(:D

costa5248,
1>> For the Color Management settings, Camera Profile and Camera Product will be set from the file EXIF data automatically. Your choices then are to set the Output Destinatin/Working Space to what you like. Choices are plentiful with Adobe RGB 1998, sRGB, and ProPhoto RGB the most used choices.
The decision is what you like, or what your customers like. Also depends on where you are printing. In general, if sending to Kodak lab, use Adobe RGB 1998, a Fuji lab use sRGB. Any images posted at a web site should use sRGB.
2>> My guess is that this is just part of the EXIF data from the camera. You have a setting that has sRGB set, and only applies to in-camera processed images, i.e. JPEGS.
Remember, RAW image files Do Not have a color space established, You choose the desired space to be applied at processing in Color Management and at the Process tab.
Hope this helps you out.
