Using Photo Mechanic - Reading XMP

Hi - I use Photo Mechanic for my initial cull of images, marking them by color code. It seems C12 can read the number of stars and filter by rating but not color - has anyone managed to get it to see color in the import dialog? If so could you share your settings?

    I don't use any DAM or catalog other than Capture One, but while stars are numbered in the same way (from 0 to 5) in almost all culling tools or softwares, this is not the case for colors. For instance, Lightroom uses more colours than Capture One. And when there is no biunivocal correspondance between softwares, they can't read each other parameters.

    In Photo Mechanic, go to Preferences -> General and tick the check box next to "Synchronize Color Class with IPTC/XMP Urgency field". Apparently C1 (among others) uses that field for the color label. Probably means you need to update the XMP files from within PM.
