Third Party Filter Question:
I'm not going to berate Phase for not having access to 3rd party plugins or anything. I know there is a lot involved in that process including a ton of red tap and business negotiating, etc.
Not being extremely code savvy or anything, I just wondered:
From a programmer's standpoint (either Phase or the Filter's vender) how daunting would it be to implement stuff like Perfect Suite or Alien Skin, etc?
Like I said, I'm not all that inconvenienced with my workflow using stand alone software and I usually know what handful of images (if any) I'm even going to bother messing with. I know lots of people who hand clients hundreds of images that have all been randomly fiddled with in Lightroom via plugins as if to hope something accidentally comes out good and that's probably why I don't need that kind of access, myself. Still, from an organizational point of view, having the process happen inside the Session Folder and being able to blend directly with CO's adjustments seems handy.
My sense from reading my twitter feed and several tech blogs (as well as a public statement from OnOne that made it clear they weren't huge fans of Creative Cloud), that it's just one more feature set that would make CO more accepted.
Is it harder to implement into CO's architecture?
