Capture One 10 Sync and file operation don't work
After recent updates, the sync option does little if anything. I have images in my TRASH I cannot delete anymore and the file operations in the library module just don't do what they are supported to do. When I manually check file counts in folders to those Capture One knows about they are completely different. I cannot get Capture One to sync to the relality thats on my harddrive.
My database keeps getting corrupted and I have to fix that too.
Fustrating......
Please fix

This being a User to User forum, are you offering money for someone local to you to turn up and fix your machine? 0 -
Nope, I would just like the product I pay for to work properly.

No users are in much of a position to help you with that.
Have you created a Support Case to seek assistance from the Phase One support team?0 -
Well I have spent many hours trying to resolve these issues and I have found removing the application, rebooting and reloading has resolved the file operations issues. This has not resolved the fact I cannot delete images in my trash though. I will be raising a support call for this.

I had similar problems and contacted tech support. My specific issue was that sync would confirm I'd want to delete x images that were missing and I confirmed. It then went through sync but missing images were still showing. Tech support told me it's a known bug so the only way to delete them is using the delete key.
I later found that catalog Trash wouldn't empty but haven't contacted them about that.
For awhile I went back to 10 for the sync to work properly but updated to latest version assuming it'd been fixed in that release since I'd reported it in the previous version and this seemed to be a major bug, at least to me. Guess not.0 -
same here my C1 crashed three times today so I had some dead files in the catalogue, the synch engine said it had found non-existing files and promised to delete, which it did not 0 -
Yep, that's some of the things I reported nearly 2 months ago. 0 -
I contacted Tech Support again today asking if they had any idea when the bug would be fixed as I wasn't using CO because it's too cumbersome and therefore takes too much time to manually delete missing images. (Not that I really expected them to answer that question.)
Their answer was they know about it and "rest assured it is on our R&D team's radar and we hope to have a fix soon".
That doesn't give me any great peace.0 -
I can confirm this:
Since Capture One 10.1 Sync doesnt work correctly anymore and files can not be deleted from a catalogue. After a while the database gets corrupted.
I reported this to Tec suport two times. First time they told me its known bug. Than 10.1.2 was released and the issue was not fixed. I reported the issue again and they told me that it must have something to do with my database...
I downgraded and work with capture one 10.0.2 now. Everything is fine again.
I hope they fix that problem soon but sometimes I have my doubts. For me its a really MAJOR issue that makes using capture one 10.1 impossible for me (and other users). And it its going on for weeks and months now...0 -

I am having to hold it together on 10.0.2 as well.
Another issue I found (10.1.x) has to do with with Sharpening/NR Detail. It's almost like the detail slider is stuck at 100. Specially on ISO400+.
A pity since the snappy hardware acceleration for Fujifilm files made me tear up (when it worked).
