The focus mask has disappeared

Capture One Pro 7.1.3 - 64 bit.

I cannot see the focus mask for an entire session I shot today. Yet, most pictures appear to be sharp. I have tried to increase the threshold... to no avail. I checked with previous sessions, the mask appears as expected. When I go back to today's session, no mask !

I reinstalled over the existing version. No joy. Has any one experienced this problem ?

    are you sure you work well with RAW images ?
    If you are in jpeg or TIFF, it is normal that it does not work.

    Thanks Ikarex, you nailed it on the head ! 😄 I always shoot in RAW, and I can't explain how I switched to jpeg this time, so I never thought about that...

    on some canon cameras there is a 'Full Auto' mode that forces shooting jpeg, would not it be the case of the Nikon D700?

    Not as far as I know. And I always shoot in A/S/or Manual mode anway. I suppose someone fiddled with my camera and I failed to check the settings. I will never know for sure but thanks for your help.
