How to Move Capture One Catalog to External Drive

Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to simple copy my Capture One Catalog to an external drive. I can't find any information online about moving a catalog.

I am dealing with a very serious software problem on my Macbook Pro and essentially I need to erase the computer and start over.

At this point, I can't even open C1P, so I was wondering if I could just copy the Capture One catalog to an external drive and copy it back once my computer is operational again.

  You could do that. You need to make sure that you can put everything back where it was, so think about what you need to copy off. Where are the images - in the catalog (managed) or outside it (referenced), and if referenced are they also on the MacBook internal drive, or on an external drive?

  The images are all referenced on an external drive. None of the files are on the internal drive.
