Force overwriting of images during processing

Can C1 somehow be set to overwrite existing images instead of renaming them?
I need this to update images once in a while, now I have to take manual action to remove duplicates and rename the new files back to their original names (without "space #")

    There isn't a facility to do this at the moment. If you'd like overwriting to be an option, put in a support case requesting it as a feature. But I have to say that many users prefer the way it is at the moment, so if Phase One changed it, I'd sincerely hope it was an option that could be turned off.
