Browser pinstripes

Hi,

Is it possible to make the browser background solid, instead of the pinstripe pattern...which tends to flicker on my monitor (for some reason)?

  That part of the interface is (not yet) adjustable re. its pattern (solid/striped) as of v4.0.1. There has been more requests regarding this before, so perhaps an upcoming release brings relief.
