Capture one pro for Sony tethering issue
I tried tethering my Rx10iv using Capture one pro for Sony.
I get camera connection, take images, transfer the image but for some reason I cannot change
the shooting parameters!
My laptop is an Asus notebook, i5, 8 Gb memory running win 10.
I figure cable or laptop is too slow.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

It sounds like you may have a connection that is not full tethering but your computer seeing the camera as a storage device.
However when you write "transfer the image" it's difficult to know precisely what that describes - it could apply to both a full tether situation or the transfer of a camera captured image to a "hot folder" for example.
In a full tether situation the camera storage is bypassed as are many of the internal camera functions in favour of the tethering control software (in this case Capture One). If you have connected computer and camera and obtained a connection before trying Capture One and opening the Capture controls then you will not get the tethering features.
I'm not sure if that is what has happened but it's worth checking.
HTH.

To be clear, Capture one does everything it is supposed to do except for allowing changes to the Camera shooting parameters e.g aperture, shutter speed, iso changes.

What mode is the camera set to at that point? 0 -
I tried it aperture and program modes. Capture one clearly identified the Camera.
