Media View pixelated in Media Pro butnot in Expression Media

I imported the same file into Media Pro v1.4 and Microsoft Expression Media 2. When I switch to Media view in Expression Media, the image is sharp . When I switch to Media view in Media Pro, the image is pixelated. I am using a 30 inch monior with the window the full size of the monitor. The size settings are the same ("pin larger size") and I have rebuilt the thumbnail image in Media Pro.
The size is 7.5 x 8 inches at 1600 ppi. I am a long time User and used to be featured on Microsoft and Iview's "Famous User page." why is this working poorly

    Hi Famous User,

    One thought: have you set Media Pro to always use previews?

    Otherwise look at Media Pro the options to render raw files, some are new. One displays the thumbnail pixelated until the preview loads, designed for large files and those on a server. Another waits for the preview to load but makes the user feel as though the system has stalled (original iView method).
