Problems with converting queued images

I am using the latest C1 SE version on a PC. Sometimes I can load an image into the queue for processing and go on to the next image. It seems to vary according to the folder destination. At other times, I can't convert the image in the queue and move on to another image until that one is finished being converted. Any ideas for correcting this? ❓
